Ben is a second-year student at Williams College pursuing a contract major in film. His main interest lies in narrative film where he’s served as the director, cinematographer, editor, colorist, and sound designer on numerous shorts. Despite his broad interest in technical departments, his focus remains primarily on cinematography. Having grown up in a musician's household, much of Ben’s work has revolved around music. Over the years he has created numerous performance videos for chamber music groups and has loved expanding his knowledge of recording and mixing techniques working in the Williams College recording studio. During the summer of 2022, Ben worked as a post-production assistant for the sound mix of Netflix's animated film My Father's Dragon. Also at Williams, Ben co-founded and serves as the technical director for Purple Valley Productions, the school's first club dedicated to film production, and works as a teaching assistant for video art classes.
